The British Virgin Islands (abbreviated BVI), officially simply the Virgin Islands, are a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, to the east of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands and north-west of Anguilla.

Agriculture In The British Virgin Islands

Livestock raising is the most important agricultural activity.

 It is necessary to obtain a plant quarantine phytosanitary certificate for fruits and vegetables being removed from the territory.

The British Virgin Islands enjoy a tropical climate, moderated by trade winds. Temperatures vary little throughout the year. In the capital, Road Town, typical daily maxima are around 32 °C (89.6 °F) in the summer and 29 °C (84.2 °F) in the winter.
